The seaside town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer is located between Nice and Monaco, in the east of Cap Ferrat. At only 10 km from Nice, it is nestled in the heart of lush vegetation, surrounded by palm trees. There is also the Villa Kerylos, built by Emmanuel Pontremoli in the early twentieth century on request of Theodore Reinach. A listed building, it is full of frescoes depicting Greek mythology and other artistic splendor. Note especially the peristyle, a courtyard surrounded by white marble columns and frescoes inspired by Attic vases.
