You can visit his roomy home and admire some of his canvases and pictures of his family. There is also the Grimaldi Castle Museum, which is a medieval chateau, built for the Grimaldi’s of Monaco. You can climb the tower and get a panoramic view hills and coast.
If you would like to go out and visit the surrounding area then you can take trips out to the nearby villages; Haut de Cagnes, Saint Paul de Vence and Tourrettes sur Loup. These quaint, hilltop villages offer the chance for a nice stroll along the long narrow, cobbled pathways with views sea.
Cagnes sur Mer has 3.5 km of beaches along its coastline to enjoy open to the public. There are also six private beaches where you can hire sunbeds with waiter service. If you want some action at the beach, then head over to Cros de Cagnes where there is a wide selection of water sports, e.g., sailing, paddleboarding and windsurfing.
