The large, Blue-Flag approved seaside resort of Canet en Roussillon has 9 km of beaches of fine sand, with everything to delight fans of swimming and sunbathing. In Canet en Roussillon, there are also lots of water sports activities! Windsurfing, kitesurfing, beach volleyball, kayaking, paddleboarding and jet skiing are all available here. A slot machine arcade as well as restaurants, cafés and discos provide plenty of nighttime entertainment.
The Natura 2000 listed site of Canet Pond is a place of choice for a great number of wild birds. Bird-lovers are invited to enjoy a peaceful walk along its Discovery Path, which has hides along the way.
Canet en Roussillon is a great place to come and just relax. With its 9 km of sandy beaches, there is plenty to do. You can visit one of the beach clubs, after dropping off the children at the children’s club, or have a go at one of the many water sport opportunities that Canet en Roussillon has to offer.
There is also lots to discover here. Go to one of the many ponds and fishing huts, or you could roam the streets of the Old Town where you can see the Romanesque church of the 16th century castle, Vicomtal the fiftennth.
