Le Lavandou is located between Toulon and Saint-Tropez in the south of the Côte d’Azur Var. Also called the city of the dolphins and whales, Le Lavandou is located on the shores of the Mediterranean, facing the Iles du Levant and Port-Cros and stretches over 12 km of coastline with 12 beautiful beaches of fine sand, grain size and different colours.
The authentic fishing village has a mild and temperate climate, with hot, dry summers. Nestled at the foot of the Maures mountains, lush Mediterranean vegetation found there in a protected environment.

Lavandou is a great destination for the whole family as there is something there to please everyone. If you like going on walks and exploring then go to the Sentier du Littoral which is a coastal trail that is 3 km along the sea, offering breathtaking view of the islands of Port-Cros and Le Levant.
If you would rather be in the sea rather than looking at it, then take to one of the 12 sandy beaches here, where you can sunbathe, swim, take part in water sports, or go scuba diving and snorkelling. You are also able to rent a boat or go sailing if that is something you have always wanted to experience.
Lavandou also has a mini golf course which will be perfect if you are a family travelling with younger children or just a big group looking for some light competition.
